Name: Algis Perovitch Murtaugh

Origin: Malvanian/Virian

Algis Murtaugh was a weak sickly child.  Aside from his illness, he suffered merciless bullying at school.  To escape the loneliness and misery, he began experimenting with trance states.  He spent so much time in the spirit realm of Fravash that he neglected his physical body.  His lively mind and playful nature found a home there.  He was misdiagnosed with autism.  When conventional therapies failed, he was sent to the Freedom House psychiatric facility, where he remained for many years.  He totally abandoned his physical body, allowing the nursing staff to take care of it, while he roamed Fravash.  He became bloated and overweight.  He remained at Freedom House until Sheraleen Conder rescued his physical body and helped guide his spirit back into it.

Name: Vanlose Ardglass Origin: Virian Vanlose Ardglass is the eldest son of Maureen Ardglass.   He has the typical Virian appearance of stocky build, dark hair and pale complexion.   He works with his brother Sam as a window-cleaner and general labourer.   He has a cheerful friendly disposition.   He is hard-working, helpful and protective towards his family and friends.

Haedestryah: Goddess of the Beyond

  There is no specific religious order for Haedestryah.   People entreat her to spare the lives of their loved ones or to send them back from her halls.   Prayer cycles are recited for someone close to death or recently deceased, asking Haedestryah for the person’s safe passage into her halls and for them to be cared for in the Beyond. Funeral rituals vary according to culture and religion.   Most rites include prayers and eulogies.   Many cultures prefer to send their deceased loved ones to the Beyond by means of a pyre.   Some cultures bury their dead and conduct rituals over the grave-site.   Ascended Masters and near-death experiencers describe her as an ethereal ghostly woman with pale skin and black hair.   She is said to wear black robes.

Elfridah Wynghavaan (AKA Effie) is a Sartorian taxi driver who lives and works in a slum district of Milgramcyad, the capital city of Mondias, during the time of the Great Invasion.  She is the sister of Marsalis and best friend of Matilda Grimwald.  She is cheerful and friendly but slightly reserved in her ways.  She met Sheraleen Conder through Matilda.  She became friends with Sheraleen.
