Nevyn Barteleyev is a Malvanian thief, mercenary and computer expert.  He grew up among the Silent Order of Thieves, where he learned his dubious trade.  He is arrogant, ambitious and financially motivated.  He has a perpetually cynical and jaded demeanour and lacks sympathy or empathy.  Unfortunate and desperate circumstances led him to seek employment with the Carpathians.  He ended up working for Lord Claudio Scalani at the Geryalah enclave.

Name: Szandyr Pyrssen Origin: Malvanian/Carpathian  Szandyr Pyrssen is Malvanian, but has Carpathian heritage from a previous generation of his family. He works as a fencing instructor and espionage tutor for the mysterious Ghryxaarti secret society. He is cheerful and friendly as well as being sly and devious. He looks quite fragile but has great strength and agility.

Name: Ford Ardglass Origin: Virian  Ford is the eldest of the three Ardglass brothers, who are the sons of Emmett and Ardleigh Ardglass.  Ford and his two brothers are cousins to Vanlose, Sam and Maurey Ardglass.  He is extrovert and rather vain, believing himself to be attractive and desirable.  He enjoys heavy drinking sessions and flirting with young women.  His sense of humour is rather crude and he is fond of making sexual innuendoes.  Although not an overtly bad person, his company is an acquired taste and he can become annoying.

  Name: Otis Nelson Mulvaney Origin: Virian/Malvanian  Otis Nelson Mulvaney comes from mixed parentage.  His father was Virian and his mother was Malvanian.  He reveals little about his past.  He is a mercenary who has served both with the Cyad and with the rebels of the Symanic Alliance.  He has no loyalty to anyone except himself.  He has a harsh cynical outlook on life and a cruel manipulative personality.  He attaches himself to Sheraleen Conder and causes trouble for her.
