Appearance: Tall and slim.  Pale complexion and pale grey eyes.  Long white hair.  Indeterminate age.  He usually wears plain grey robes for everyday tasks.  On some occasions, he will wear black silk robes or his multi-coloured Chronomage robes.

Personality: Calm and considered.  Can be abrasive at times.  Has a quirky sense of humour which is often mistaken for cutting cruelty.

Family: The Helvellyan family of sorcerers.  Has a twin brother, Anselmi.

Abilities: Master Sorcerer and Chronomage.  Skilled in advanced sorcery techniques and temporal manipulation techniques.

Strengths: Good at reading people and motivating people.  Has a vast knowledge of sorcery, history, politics and other important topics.

Weaknesses: Can seem aloof and detached.
