Name: Myra Grogthorpe

Origin: Malvanian

Myra Grogthorpe was born into slavery and forced into prostitution.  Later she was used by a scientist as a subject for his experiments with Virian crystals and various other substances.  When she was no longer of use to him, she ended up at the Freedom House psychiatric facility in Northern Malvania.  Despite the immense trauma she suffered, she became extremely manipulative.  She used her powers to depose the existing Governors there and took on the role of Governess herself.  She ruled it as her own territory for several years.  She keeps her hair in a severe bob.  She has pale skin and a voluptuous figure.  She prefers dressing in a rubber jumpsuit and heavy boots.  She is also fond of wearing bright red lipstick.

  Name: Otis Nelson Mulvaney Origin: Virian/Malvanian  Otis Nelson Mulvaney comes from mixed parentage.  His father was Virian and his mother was Malvanian.  He reveals little about his past.  He is a mercenary who has served both with the Cyad and with the rebels of the Symanic Alliance.  He has no loyalty to anyone except himself.  He has a harsh cynical outlook on life and a cruel manipulative personality.  He attaches himself to Sheraleen Conder and causes trouble for her.

Elfridah Wynghavaan (AKA Effie) is a Sartorian taxi driver who lives and works in a slum district of Milgramcyad, the capital city of Mondias, during the time of the Great Invasion.  She is the sister of Marsalis and best friend of Matilda Grimwald.  She is cheerful and friendly but slightly reserved in her ways.  She met Sheraleen Conder through Matilda.  She became friends with Sheraleen.

Character Profile: Edwina Helvellyan

Name: Edwina Helvellyan Origin: Malvanian  Edwina Helvellyan is a Malvanian internee whose mother and grandmother were abducted by the Cyad Confederacy during the Great Invasion.  She stowed away on a Cyad ship with the intention of finding her mother and grandmother.  She is training to be a healer.  She also takes a great interest in politics and history.  She has a calm demeanour and can be somewhat reticent, especially around people she doesn't know well or doesn't feel comfortable with.  She and Sheraleen Conder (later Sheraleen Mulvaney, then Sheraleen Donovan) became good friends during their time in a Cyad correctional school (prison).
