Gheran Perdemond is a sorcerer who studies at the prestigious Donovan Institute.  He specialises in computer science.  He is intelligent and eager to please but not overly ambitious.  He has a quiet and reticent demeanour.  He can become nervous and uncomfortable when meeting new people or having to adapt to new situations.  He is a good friend of Lady Anwyn Menehari.

Cultural Information: Serd-Mages

  The serd-mages take their name from the Varagan street slang word sersedrei , meaning “rascal” or “rebel”, depending on context. The movement began as a counter-culture in Varah and Par-Varah communities, based on the principle that instruction in sorcery skills should be available to all those with crystal bonds or Aureant senses, regardless of their social status, racial origins or financial status. It is credited to have started in the holy city of Dardenay in Southern Varathusia, when priests and priestesses on outreach duty decided to start teaching basic sorcery skills to young disadvantaged adepts.   The movement grew and spread around many other cities on mainland Varathusia.
