Vernon: God of Mountains, Rocks and Soil
Like most elemental deities, no formal religious order exists for Vernon. Agrimages often pray to him during the course of their work.
Some followers carve shrines in rock-faces and burn incense there while reciting prayer cycles. Others use caves as their place of worship. For the most devout followers, the act of climbing hills or mountains counts as a form of worship.
Although Vernon’s Volcano is named after this God, it is more commonly associated with Gloria Elviria, Mother of Viria, and Ledni, Goddess of Fire.
Vernon is often depicted as a bearded man with strong facial features and spikes of rock forming his hair and beard. Most iconic renderings of him are done as carvings in stone or clay.
