“Come out, come out wherever you are!” Ramsey stood against the stone, not moving a muscle. He held his wife against him, praying that she wouldn’t have the nerve to do anything stupid like she usually did in such situations. “What are they saying?” Elspeth breathed into his ear. Ramsey shook his head before remembering that she couldn’t see the gesture; he, Elspeth and Lias were still invisible due to Andreas’ spell. Instead, Ramsey gave his wife’s hand a reassuring pat as if to say ‘everything’s going to be alright, so keep quiet.’ At least, that’s what he hoped she’d get from it. “There!” one of the soldiers yelled. “They’re masked! Ramsey was beaming. Spying again after all these years. And this time, he didn't have to use a disguise carefully crafted by one of the palace's mages. Andreas had placed an invisibility spell over him, Elspeth and Lias. The plan was foolproof. Except for one thing, of course. "Stupid," Elspeth was saying. "Feel like I've been run over by a herd o' goats, exhaustion like this-" "Shut it, Elspeth," Ramsey hissed. "Do ye want ta get caught?" "He took all me energy," she shot back, "an' I feel all itchy."
